School Programs at Lime Hollow
Respect for nature – and, in turn, nature's positive impact on us – starts when we're children and lasts a lifetime. That's why Lime Hollow has made school programs a top priority.
Forest preschool is an exciting approach to outdoor education. This type of education was modeled after the German Waldkindergarten. In all weather conditions, children play, explore, discover, and connect with nature and each other. Children are encouraged to dress for the weather, with waterproof clothes and warm layers, according to the climate.
For full information visit our Forest PreSchool web site.
Connect with nature at all levels. Start off basic and add more knowledge each visit. Each day is a new adventure filled with tree identification, hands on experience with the maple syrup process, vernal pond investigations and gathering wild edibles. Celebrate on the last day with a wild edible feast.
