Adult Naturalist Series

There is so much to learn about at Lime Hollow! We will offer classes and workshops to reveal the hidden gems that make up the natural elements and cultural history of the Lime Hollow area! Ever wonder what animals call Lime Hollow home, what birds are chatting about as they flitter and flap through the trees, or what was here before the trails and the Nature Center? This is your chance to find out! Our experienced staff or local experts from the community will lead classes throughout the year.

These programs are intended for individuals ages 13 and above. Participants aged 13-15 must be accompanied by an adult.

Winter Tracking with guest instructor Linda Spielman

Saturday, February 3
9:00AM-11:30AM

Location: 3277 Gracie Rd.

Price: $20 | Members receive 10% OFF

Join Linda Spielman, a renowned local naturalist and tracker with over 30 years of experience on a tracking adventure to find out about our animal neighbors at Lime Hollow. The group will focus on identifying animals from their tracks and interpreting their movements in the landscape. There is always something to learn, no matter what your previous experience, so come out and see how much you can observe in a simple set of footprints. We'll be doing some light hiking, but dress warmly because tracking is not as vigorous as most other winter activities.

  • Linda has lead tracking workshops and informal outings with participants at all levels, from beginner to advanced.

She has her happiest moments when she is outside reading the stories nature tells.
