Celebrate the moonlight with a brisk guided evening walk to admire the beauty of Lime Hollow trails at night. The transition from day to night can be an exciting time to tune our senses to nature. Moonlit hikes take place whether the sky is clear or overcast.

Come start off the new year right by joining Lime Hollow Nature Center for our First Day Hike! At 10am on January 1st, 2025, we will meet at our Visitor Center to head off on a 2 mile hike through the forest to ring in the new year. Enjoy a hot beverage, raffles, and guided winter hike! This is a family-friendly event, all are welcome to come.This hike is unfortunately not a pet friendly hike.

Cost: We aim to make all of our programming accessible to all while still covering associated costs for staffing and trail maintenance. Please pay what you can, no one will be turned away for inability to pay.
Snowshoes are available for rent if weather is suitable. You are welcome to bring your own gear.
Location: 338 McLean Road. Please arrive early so that the group can leave at start time and especially if renting snowshoes.

Moonlit Hikes are moderately strenuous with some elevation gains and declines. Hikes last approximately 60 to 75 minutes depending on the group and trail conditions.
